Bringing together people that are interested in vegetation management in the State of Florida.
Our goal is to provide training for applicators in practical field skills and to earn their continuing education credits to meet the state licensing requirements and to provide an educational forum for supervisors and managers to learn about regulations, new chemistry, vegetation management programs and other developments that could enhance their existing programs. Initially our program model would be based upon providing information on the implementation and management of comprehensive vegetation maintenance programs and training, hopefully with some hands-on, for the field applicators.
The FVMA strives to promote education and leadership in order to further responsible and ethical vegetation management. One of the best ways to do that is by supporting higher education in these fields through our scholarship program.
Our scholarship applications are currently open through March 10, 2022.
With the generous support of our sponsors, we are able to support our purpose of providing training for applicators in practical field skills as well as further their knowledge to promote responsible vegetation management practices.
It has been an eventful past two years for the FVMA. Thankfully we will be back to our normal schedule for the 2022 conference. Our next conference will be held on April 12-14, 2022.

Despite the recent challenges that COVID has presented us with, the board is hard at work planning the 2022 conference. Don't miss it, we will see you at the beach.
Congratulations to our new President Steve Fairtrace and to our new President Elect Wayne Poole!
